Photos of photo-shoot location - Cloughfields stables.
This first photo shows the indoor riding school, which is my backup location if the weather outside is bad since this area is sheltered. I didn't want to take my main cover image photo here as the lighting isn't great.
I think this area could be nice for taking photos if I brought extra lighting with me or took photos on a sunny day since it's a proper arena and therefore will still give a professional affect within my photos. I'm also allowed to set up jumps in this area as seen in he photo which is beneficial since I want to take photos of Frankie jumping her horse.
Problems such as being able to see myself the mirror of a photo could occur since the horse is constantly moving therefore it's hard to predict where about my model will be located within the arena.

This photo is of the outdoor riding school, which is where I'm originally planning on taking my front cover and contents page photos. Unfortunately, you can't see the view in this photo, however this will most likely be seen on my main front cover image. I'll also be taking some of the photos for my 'riding' section on the double page spread here.
I think this area is perfect for taking photos since there's lots of nature which will help reinforce the theme of animals and nature within my magazine. The fact that you'll be able to see the view of Sheffield in the background of my photos will help my magazine appeal to a Sheffield based audience as they may be familiar with this view.
I can also take jumping equipment into this area which is perfect as I want to take pictures of Frankie jumping rocky for the riding section of my double page spread and also front cover as a small side image to accompany some cell lines.

This is where i'll be taking the 'horse care' photos for my double page spread as it's where Rocky's stable is - connoting that the section of my double page spread is more based on care than riding since this is where you remove riding gear and you can physically denote the stable area showing that the situation does not involve riding. Therefore helping give a visual representation of this section and make it easier for the audience to understand.
The fact that this area is located doors is beneficial since weather conditions such as rain isn't an issue.
Problems such as other riders getting in the way of photos could occur since everyone has to use this area constantly as this is where lots of peoples possessions and horses are. Secondly we don't know if other horses are comfortable with having cameras around which would be a problem, to avoid this I'll take the flash off of the camera and take photos using natural light instead.
